Don’t you dare let the title of this recipe fool you into thinking it’s nothing special, because I’m here to tell you, this BACON JALAPENO TURKEY BURGER is one of the simplest, yet most delicious burgers I have ever had!
Let me tell you why these Bacon Jalapeno Turkey Burgers are so good. Not because of the caramelized onions or the jalapeno cream cheese. Not even because of the bacon (I know crazy talk right) but because of these seasoned turkey patties from JENNIE-O. Holy effing eff….am I even allowed to say that?!? First off, having these turkey pre-seasoned is one less step for anyone who doesn’t want to think about what to put on it. JENNIE-O does that for you! Not only do you get the juciest, protein filled patty, but its also absolutely scrumptious. Another reason why this burger has simple ingredients. The turkey patty is the star of the show!
As someone who has a very small kitchen I love that this Bacon Jalapeno Turkey Burger is all done in one pan! You will use that bacon grease to cook everything up. From the caramelized onions, to the JENNIE-O seasoned turkey patties. The only thing you are making seperately is the jalapeno cream cheese.
Use any kind of bun your heart desires, but I prefer it “protein style” (hi in n out fans), wrapped up in lettuce! If you can find jalapeno cream cheese, use that. There are lots of dairy free cream cheese options that you can do too. All you do is finely dice up the jalapeno and mix it into the cream cheese! Either way is wonderful!
