These Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wings are a delight to eat! Super simple to make, with a bit of a kick, these wings will soon become your new favorite!
Whenever I make chicken wings I always try to think up something different than the usual “buffalo” wings. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good buffalo wing, but it just seems like everyone make them like that ya know! You may have made my RANCH CHICKEN WINGS which are great for people who don’t like heat, because YOU get to control it by dipping them in buffalo sauce rather than in ranch sauce!
Now I know when you see “Jamaican Jerk” you automatically think that they will be spicy AF. But again, you can control the heat. My kids were able to eat these, but they do like a bit of spice. I suggest when making the seasoning mixture, if you can’t handle heat, to start with just a little bit of cayenne, taste, and then work your way up from there! Everyone’s tastebuds are different, so you do what makes your tongue feel good and enjoyable to eat!
These wings were done on my Traeger Grill but you are more than welcome to do them in the oven. I’ve got the oven instructions down below for all of you who don’t have a smoker, or who just want to do it in the oven!
These are my husbands favorite, not only because of the hint of smokiness the Traeger gives, but because its flavors are a bit different than what you normally would have with wings.
