I’m sure you have had plenty of things that are breaded in Panko bread crumbs, but have you ever had anything breaded in Pork Rinds?  I was first introduced to “Pork Panko” at ExpoWest and these are legit like the panko bread crumbs we all remember!  I was nervous at first that this glorious find was going to be hard to get, as a lot of “natural” products are.  But lucky for you I found them on Amazon, so you can have them at your hizzle in 2 days!  (Click HERE to get them)  And bonus, they are only $12 bucks for a pack of 3!  Not gonna lie, you are going to want to “bread” everything after trying this.  I’ve already breaded brussels sprouts, and next up is fish, chicken, and asparagus!

A lot of people like to dredge food by first putting it in flour, then egg, then the breading mixture.  I don’t think the flour part is really necessary, but if you want to do that go ahead and do it!  To me it doesn’t make a difference.  Plus I wanted to keep this grain free, nut free and Whole30!

Okay, enough talk about pork panko and dredging. Let’s get to this recipe that you will fall in love with, especially if green beans are your jam!

  1. Could you just crush a package of pork rinds in the processor? If so, about how much would equal “a package”? Thanks!

  2. The green beans, I have fresh green beans from the garden. Do I cook the green beans first before I start prepping and bake the beans?

    1. You can par boil them for about 2 minutes and them throw them in an ice bath. Dry them off and then coat them and bake them
