Beets. You usually love em, or you hate them. I’m the only one in my family that likes them every which way, but my children they could totally pass on eating beets.
When I make them into chips however, all of a sudden I have 5 little people at my feet wanting to eat them. Just say the word chip, and they come a runnin’
GOLDEN BEET CHIPS
Ingredients
- -bunch of golden beets (reg beets work too)
- -drizzle of oil
- -salt
- -dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- While waiting slice your beets thinly. Place in a zip lock bag and drizzle oil. Mix around and place on a cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle salt and dried thyme over top and place in oven.
- Bake for 6 min then flip and bake another 6. Repeat this process once more or until desired crispiness.
You may have to take a couple out depending on how crisp they get. We actually like these more than homemade sweet potato chips.
